EASTER AT THE ESTATE Website

Saturday, April 15 from 10 am to 4 pm Celebrate the arrival of spring with your family as you complete crafts, explore the Estate, and try traditional egg dyeing. Bring along your camera to see if you can capture the Easter Bunny as he hops by! Activities will take place inside and on the grounds of the museum; please come dressed for the weather. Cost: $6.30 for one, $10.45 for two or $16.75 for a family (two adults and children under 18)

THE GOLDEN EGG HUNT AT THE CANADIAN CHILDREN’S MUSEUM  Website

Twelve golden eggs are hidden throughout the Children’s Museum. Search high and low, and if you find them all enter a draw to win a special Easter treat. Pick up an official Golden Egg Hunt sheet at the Travel Bureau in the Canadian Children’s Museum.

EASTER EGG DECORATING AT THE CANADIAN MUSEUM OF CIVILIZATION  Website

April 1 – 10 and 11 a.m., 12, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Children will love these workshops, where they can choose from a variety of techniques to make their own decorated eggs. Registration for the workshops takes place daily at the Canadian Children’s Museum Travel Bureau. Participants may register starting at 9:30 a.m. for the morning workshops, and starting at 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon workshops. Maximum of 20 participants per workshop, plus accompanying adults.

EASTER ON THE FARM AT THE CANADA AGRICULTRURAL MUSEUM  Website

Come celebrate spring’s arrival at the Canada Agriculture Museum this Easter weekend! After a long winter, the barns have come alive with the arrival of new-born animals. Come welcome the soft little lambs, marvel at the rabbits’ silky fur and observe the fluffy newly-hatched chicks from up close. Visitors can help make a variety of Easter breads and taste a delicious sample. What’s more, the annual egg hunt is on again – children 6 years-old and younger can participate in the hunt for tots while older children can take on the challenge of hunting for the “signs of spring” throughout the barns. All this from Good Friday through Easter Monday at the Canada Agriculture Museum!

Valley View Little Animal Farm kicks off its season on Easter weekend. They celebrate Easter all day, all weekend with a variety of activities. From their website: “Our Farm Easter Bunny has lost 100’s of coloured eggs, he needs your help to find them. The Egg Hunt runs daily throughout the Easter Week-end.”
