Downtown Ottawa 9:00- 10:00 PM

Canada Day festivities officially kick off with the raising of the flag at 9 a.m.

Followed by the changing of the Guard at 9:30 a.m.

 Major’s Hill Park is the hubbub of family-friendly activities

The park has face painting, music, and great food.

*Parliament Hill, visitors will have to undergo a security screening and a bag check. Munster Park  1:00- 10:00 PM

Attractions will include inflatables to play on, a dunk tank, fun tug of war games, a delicious BBQ, a tasty popcorn stand, beer gardens, a candy corner, as well as all kinds of crafts and games for the kids.

This event truly has something for everyone.

Kanata 10-00 -10:00 PM

Canada Day in Kanata is Kanata’s premier Canada Day event and one of the largest community events in the Ottawa region. We believe that everyone should celebrate this great nation, which is why we have programming for all ages! Live bands, family fun zones and of course, a beautiful display of fireworks! Come, join us at Walter Baker Park off Terry Fox Drive in Kanata to celebrate Canada Day in Kanata.

Beer Garden and live music. Kids zone and free BBQ

Stittsville 1:00-10:00 PM

Live music all afternoon and evening, inflatables, including a zipline, horse, and wagon rides, face painting by Honeydrop Body Art, strolling characters from Dream It Character Parties & Events, free massages from The Massage Shoppe, a petting zoo, free birthday cake and glow sticks, and food served up by local favourites Jo-Jo’s PizzaPong’s PoutineCrave Tacos, and Holmespun Ice Cream.

Fireworks will go off at 9:45 pm sharp.

Russell 8:00 am ~10:00 PM

Start your day with Canada Day Breakfast hosted by the Russell Legion.

Followed by a whole day of music and activities for the whole family

Barrhaven ~ 10:00

Kidz Zone has a free activity area and gym area with interactive games for children of all ages and a Kidz Zone Stage with many young child-friendly acts.  The four day midway held from June 28 to July 1 has lots of games, food, and amusement.
